Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were once the IT couple of Hollywood. However, they parted ways in 2016 and Angelina Jolie filed for a divorce. Ever since then, there has been a long legal battle between the two over the custody of their six kids Maddox (now 19), Pax (now 17), Zahara (now 16), Shiloh (now 14), and twins Knox and Vivienne (now 12). While Angelina requested for the sole custody of their children, Brad Pitt demanded for joint custody. Now, as per a new ruling, the judge has spoken in the favor of Brad Pitt.
As per the reports, Judge John Ouderkirk has ruled that the existing custody order must be modified per Brad's request. Following this, Brad Pitt is said to be very happy. As per a source of E! News, "Brad is extremely happy, he's over the moon." The source further added, "All he wanted to do was see his kids. For him, it's the most positive results. Brad has always been seeking the opportunity to have more time with his children and prioritized their well being. The judge ruled in Brad's favor and significantly modified the customary order to significantly increase his time with the kids."
Earlier, it was reported that Angelina and Brad Pitt's son Maddox had testified in the court and reportedly against his father. There were also reports suggesting that Maddox wants to legally change his name. To Us Weekly, a source had claimed, "He doesn't use Pitt as his last name on documents that aren't legal and instead uses Jolie. Maddox wants to legally change his last name to Jolie, which Angelina has said she doesn't support." The tension between Brad Pitt and son Maddox had been always a topic of discussion. Reportedly, a fight also took place between the two on a plane, after which, Pitt was accused of child abuse.
